Umeboshi (Salt Pickled Ume Plums)

As a specialist we carry a broad line-up of 14 different Umeboshi. The line-up ranges from classic and salty umeboshi to low sodium and sweet umeboshi with honey. Our umeboshi can be pickled in Red Shiso to give them an intense red color. We also offer small umeboshi, which often are easier to consumer for people not yet used to salty Japanese pickles.

We have consumer packs in various sizes as well as large containers for wholesale customers.

Umeboshi Pastes

Our three different types of Umeboshi paste are very popular condiments.

  • White salty and sour plain Umeboshi paste
  • Red salty and sour Umeboshi paste with red Shiso
  • Sweet sour paste UMEBISHIHO


These pastes are used to spice up sauces or to pickle meat before grilling it. They can be further enhanced by adding other spices such as herbs.

We offer all three pastes in 80g jars for consumers and 500g or 1kg containers for professional use.

KARIKARI Crunchy Ume

Crunchy KARI KARI UME Pickles

A special variety of small Ume plums is used to make crunchy "Kari kari" Ume pickles. They are made by pickling unripe Ume plums in salt. Kari kari Ume are popular snack.

We offer them in four different types that vary in the level of salt used as well as the addition of Red Shiso.
